Let the brands sell
Customers trust brands. That's it. A trustworthy brand sells itself. Customers don't want sneakers, they want Nikes. Customers don't want a shirt, they want Zara. Having come for the purse of a favorite brand, customers can end up with the bag to match.
That's why the storeowner's objective is to give customers what they want. Letting customers browse through the brand catalog in not a convenience, it is another shoping motivation. It is trust and devotion to the brand that sells and having separate brand pages pulls just the right strings.
Step 1 Introduce brands
Pull the brands from the existing product attributes like 'manufacturer'. Write down the brand description and assign a logo, composing a full featured brand list.
Step 2 Reach customers
Enhance product and catalog pages:
- Promote new brands with quality products to gain trust. Set new brand as featured, making it appear atop of the other drawing more attention.
- Add brand logo and description to the corresponding product pages in two clicks;
- Display featured brands widget across the store.
Step 3 Cross-sell
Enable 'More from this Brand' block to automatically feature the best selling items of the corresponding brand.
Customers can now browse the catalog of products from the favorite brand making complementary purchases, increasing conversion. While looking for a particular item, customers are automatically suggested with the related products from the same brand and are urged to stay longer with the store.
