iPhone Theme 1.6.1

1 in 5 of our customers at present browse and purchase products from their mobiles and this trend is increasing. Bringing in this extension for us has been a big win as customers now find it much easier to browse our website and buy products. Saved us huge hassle of getting this developed from scratch and/or going towards creating an app. Would highly recommend to any business using a magento store.

Im a bit disapointed with this theme, as categories with products only are visible if there is no sub-category. Even the demo-store has products that would not show up. I think its a bug, but AH thinks not. I would really make sence that AH makes an update to "fix" it, since the theme should look and act like the normal page!

The support these guys give is beyond exceptional. I first purchased this theme when it first came out. Then when I went to a new theme there were a few issues with it but my service has expired. So, I bought the extended service plan and got an updated copy of the extension and they came in and made it work with my new them. I went about a month with a default mobile theme and my mobile sales dropped by over 65%!! So, I knew I had to get it working again when I saw that. If you are thinking about it, stop and buy theme you will be glad you did. If you have any problems you have a tremendous team behind you that will take care of you.

It works as expected just out of the box, great extention!
Just to be stubborn, a feature to customize main css color from the admin would be the cherry on top of the cake... changing the default red color with a color of choice would be enough... even it's not an heavy css job to be done, in effect! :-)

one thing is not so nice!
my FTP Program had a tick on convert to lower case, the Ahead guys played around with upper and lower case.
Took me a wile to find this out and to fix it!

I had an issue with a different mobile theme and I figured they would all have their issues. Nope! I installed this one and was good to go. I had to make some modifications and the AheadWorks team was on top of it.

The extension is really powerfull and ajax is a plus!

This was the first time I've ever purchased a product from Aheadworks and I'm very satisfied. This Magento Extension runs great and exactly as advertise. The installation is very quick and easy; Simply drag and drop. I encountered a small bug with the app so I contacted customer support. Their staff was able to resolve the issue within a short amount of time. Most other support I've had from other companies is horrible. These guys from Aheadworks know what they're doing.

I own a lot of extensions from Aheadworks and this is my first review. I purchased it with the install option and it didnt work well at first. I submited a ticket and it was resolved very very fast. After quite a bit of research I decided to purchase the Aheadworks iPhone theme. Yes, there are other free options out there but they're all missing certain features and I found their functionality a bit clunky. The Aheadworks iPhone theme works perfectly right out-the-box. Installation was a breeze and customizing the design was simple (just involved settings parameters in the Mage Admin and modifying the included css file).
Another key feature is the auto-detect browser switcher....this avoids the SEO penalty of having to use a store code to reference the mobile theme. Highly recommended!

Cannot beat it for the price. Does everything needed to enable users to shop from any of the mentioned mobile devices. Super easy to install and easy to turn on / off if need be. A must have for any online store as the time people spend on their mobile devices has increased drastically!

Purchased this extension this morning, we are now up and running with a customised mobile version of our website just a few hours later! Our customers can enjoy browsing their favourite sweets via their smartphone! Great work guys, keep it up.

This iphone theme is well thought out and is well built but a couple of small things are missing that would make it nearly perfect.

1. Product reviews need to be part of this and this should integrate with advanced reviews and create separate pages for just the reviews. **** This needs to be part of the next update****

2. The product information such as attributes and description should be in tabs similar to the menu navigation. There is a bit too much scrolling for those that have extensive attributes and descriptions.

But for $149.99 this is well worth the money and the shows your customers that you are on board with the switch to mobile.

When we first bought this, our Magento didn't have a mobile theme built in, so I'm not sure how this compares to Magento's basic mobile theme, but I do know that this is very easy to use. I like how it picks up when a person is on a iphone, droid, or blackberry and automatically displays the mobile theme. The theme is very simple to use for our customers. The one thing that would be nice would be to have a section on the admin side where we could enter in all our conversion tracking codes for adwords, shopzilla, affiliate sales, etc. You can edit the theme itself to get this, but a little section on the admin side would make it much easier.

We purchased the Enterprise version of this module and it was not the smoothest of installs. We found several issues with it early on related to caching and other things.

AheadWorks went above and beyond the call of duty to fix every last issue with the module until it was working perfectly! They spent the better part of 6 months working with us to shake the bugs out and have it work seamlessly. When we launched the module on our live server and there were zero issues, we were very pleased.

Not only this a great add on for any site but AheadWorks stands behind their products to make sure they work as they should for any install. It took some time but we highly recommend AheadWorks' modules and their company.

This iPhone theme is quite possibly the best out there for this price. It functions well and requires minimal CSS to customize it. Makes shopping for your mobile customers so much easier.

Very easy install, super easy setup, easy to customize if you are familiar with customizing magento themes. Very impressive mobile e-com, the buying process on android, iphone, and blackberry is now better than when using the real site on a computer! There were a couple tweaks needed to get all of my content to show, which I provided below... In categories my content that needed static blocks and variables wasn't showing up so I added the following and it solved it.

We have had to do some custom development with the module to make it work with some of our own custom development outside of aheadworks. As always their modules are very easy to work with, they are coded with 100% compatibility with magento no issues with the module, it's great!

Just install it and bam, it works. No more worrying about getting your sites optimized for mobile anymore. Also, don't have to deal with the fees from Magento for their "app"

This was very easy and flawless to install! Worked perfectly right out of the box.

We install on our store and it works fine. The only problem we found is that single touch on screen loads the page instead of scolling over menu. This could be due to anythng else. not sure. however, otherwise we are happy.

We don't even know mobile site can be done by a magento extension, China has big popuation and huge IPhone user group, no doube to increase our website IP and P.V by an addtional way.

This theme is just what needed for the mobile users. It is clean and straight forward.

Auto-detection is a great feature to switch the theme automatically for the mobile devices.

Very good module always used it until i installed 1.6 unfortunately it is not compatible with Magento 1.6 yet. I hope it will be soon!
