Subscriptions and Recurring Payments – Authorize.net is available now!

This release seems to be the most expected, and today there is a serious reason to rejoice – Subscriptions & Recurring Payments with Authorize.net support is finally released!

Of course, the fact that this popular payment gateway has been implemented in the Subscriptions & Recurring Payments module is extremely notable itself, but you shouldn’t think that it’s the only advantage of the new version. The following features and minor bug fixes make the extension even more flexible and stable than before:

  • Reworked email templating system for alerts
  • Custom order status for subscription activation
  • Access lists support for Periodicity, Subscriptions list and Subscriptions alerts
  • Subscription products can be included in CSV export

Advanced Reports 1.1 released!

In Advanced Reports v.1.1 new reports were implemented:

  • “Sales” report. With Advanced Reports, it’s simple to display the purchase date and time of products sold during a specified period.
  • “Users Activity” report. This report allows you to observe customers’ activities (e.g., new accounts, reviews, orders) for any period of time. The Users Activity Report chart is set up to show three lines – new accounts, number of reviews and number of orders.
  • “Sales by Customer Group” report. This great feature gives you the opportunity to see sales by groupings of customer types.

Other Advanced Reports advantages are the software’s:

  • Ability to configure the statuses of all orders for processing
  • Reports data displayed by Quarter

The extension work was improved as the following bugs were fixed:

  • Problem with special symbols in the SKU field
  • First day of week problem
  • Double quantity in Sales by Country report
  • Lost session error

Follow Up Email 3.0 released!

Follow Up Email v.3.0 meets the requirements of even the most hard-to-please store owner. A rule creating/editing for follow up email sending has become so flexible that everyone can set it up according to their needs with the help of new events, conditions, template directives and some other opportunities implemented in the latest version.

The new Follow Up Email feature – abandoned carts tracking and restoring for registered customers and guests – allows both registered and non-registered customers to restore their abandoned carts with just one click on the link from the follow up email. The store owners in their turn can track who and when followed this link and – what is even more important – the following order as well.

The aheadWorks extension makes it possible to cover a wider range of your customers’ actions. We have added new events which allow triggering follow up emails when:

  • wishlist was shared;
  • product was added to wishlist;
  • customer came back by link sent;
  • customer has logged in;
  • customer’s birthday;
  • customer’s last activity.

With the considerably enlarged list of events you gain more opportunities to keep in touch with your customers.

To make the rules more flexible and suitable for you, we have implemented the Sales amount condition and the Events cancellation field. The Sales amount condition helps to create rules basing on customer orders total with ability to target recipients who have purchased for more/less or equal to the specified amount. With the Events cancellation field you can specify event(s) canceling already scheduled emails, e.g. the 2nd abandoned cart reminder can be canceled if the visitor comes back after the first one.

Follow Up Email allows you to send test emails, or copies of all outcoming messages. Thus you can check the correctness of templates and variables in split seconds – just send a test email right after its creating or editing!

Store administrators gain an opportunity to preview, delete or immediately send emails from the email queue manually until the emails are sent automatically.

Now the templates have become more flexible as new template directives have been added to template parser by aheadWorks: “foreach” allows listing e.g. all purchased products and other items arrays, “thumbnail” directive contains a product thumbnail.

Help Desk Ultimate 2.5 released!

The Help Desk Ultimate feedback was thoroughly analyzed and the majority of asked-for features have been implemented in the new version. One of the main features concerns mail fetching improvements – IMAP and TLS support what means more protocols available for mail access.

Customer Purchases 1.0 released

Customer Purchases

The standard Orders tab doesn’t allow viewing the list of the products purchased by the customer. To find it out you should click the required order every time you want to know which products and in what amount were bought by this or that customer.

The Customer Purchases extension solves this problem by adding a Purchases tab on the Customer Information page. In this tab you are able to observe the list of purchases with the complete information about each purchase – date and time it was made, the product title, quantity, price per item and total price. If you want to observe the details of each order just click the View Order button right in the purchase row.

Having the complete picture of customers’ activity behind your eyes, you can make a more valid and fast analysis of customers’ activity and plan the promotions and discounts.

Product Updates Notifications 1.0.4 released!

In our fast developing world it becomes hard enough to follow the novelties — too much information we get every day and quite often we just have no time to check for updates. The Product Updates Notifications extension helps your customers to stay in touch with your store and the products they are interested in.

Customers can subscribe and receive email notifications every time new products appear in your store, the prices or items quantity are changed, the promotions are held — anything you (as a store owner) want to inform your customers about. Logged in customers can subscribe by just clicking the “Notify me about updates” link, guests are only to enter their name and email.

The Product Updates Notifications extension allows you to place the link to one of the predefined positions:

  • under the title above the reviews block;
  • after reviews before the price;
  • after the price before the “Add to cart” button;
  • after “Add to cart” before short description.

You can also insert it anywhere you wish via CMS.
